Johnny Depp, Christian Bale and Marion Cotillard will hit theaters July 1, guns blazing in Michael Mann's Public Enemies. Other stars include Billy Crudup (J. Edgar Hoover?), Channing Tatum, Leelee Sobieski, Giovanni Ribisi, Emilie de Ravin, and Stephen Dorff, plus like 20 more.
So are we ready for another gangster movie? Are we ready to see Johnny Depp play something other than a pirate? Are we ready to move on from the Christian Bale incident?
Hell if I know.

Billy Crudup playing John Edgar Hoover? I don't know much about Hoover's life, but that would probably mean gaining weight. Secondly, does Public Enemies' story takes place in Chicago?
Yeah I know, I was kind of shocked by that casting call. I think he gained a little weight, but I'm not sure that they're going for a full look-a-like here. I believe that most or all of the film does take place in Chicago. Most of their filming locations were in Illinois or Wisconsin
